Make sure that the box beside Enable Location Services is ticked.Click on the Privacy tab and then Location Services. Now, to make sure that the image does change in time with the day where you are – so that it’s dark when it’s dark outside, and light when the sun is shining, go to System Preferences (if you keep the Desktop & Screen Saver window open just click on the button of dots next to the arrows) and choose the Security & Privacy option.Choose Dynamic if you want the image to change throughout the day though. This allows you to choose for it to always be dark, which you might prefer if you are using Dark Mode on your Mac. If you have chosen the Mojave image, beside this thumbnail you should see a drop down menu with the options: Dynamic, Light or Dark.
